Welcome to the Web site of the Kiwanis Club of Warwick in Newport News, Virginia. The hallmark of our club is service, leadership and fellowship. Members of the club are service-minded men and women who take pride in volunteering their time and talents to make our community a better place to live and work.
Based on needs in our community, we engage in humanitarian and civic projects, which help to improve people's lives. Service to young children and youth is our highest priority. We undertake many projects, the main one being our concession trailer where we sell food and beverages at city events and community festivals. Funds from these sales are used to support individuals and groups in our community who need assistance.
We invite both men and women, 18 years and older and of good moral character to attend our meetings and join our club. We meet for breakfast on Tuesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. at The Arbors in Port Warwick, off Jefferson Avenue in Newport News.
Our board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. A variety of guest speakers are invited to the remaining meetings to share breakfast with us and talk about different subjects.
